Lifelong Learning
At Kol HaNeshamah we believe that we are all lifelong learners. To create a true learning community, each of us takes seriously the responsibility of Talmud Torah—sacred study.
There are multiple opportunities for adults to learn:
Shabbat Morning Torah Study with Rabbi Michael Adam Latz is a spiritually invigorating and community building exercise. Each time we gather, between 20-30 adults of all ages and backgrounds delve into the text with sensitivity, thought and humor.
An Adult B’nei Mitzvah class meets Wednesday evenings.
We often invite local leaders to speak and teach during Shabbat. Read the weekly email to find out who is coming next!
Master Chef Michael Banks often teaches Jewish cuisine classes. Be sure not to miss the tantalizing world of the Jewish palate.
There are also opportunities throughout the greater Puget Sound community to learn, including the Union for Reform Judaism’s regional Introduction to Judaism class (which Rabbi Latz will teach at Kol HaNeshamah beginning in January 2007).
Exploring Judaism Seminar
For those interested in exploring Judaism, considering conversion, or wanting to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Jewish year & life cycle.
Classes begin promptly at 7pm and conclude at 8:30pm, unless otherwise noted.
