Friday Evening Services

Please join us on the first and third Friday of each month to welcome in Shabbat. Kol HaNeshamah meets at 7:00 p.m. for Kabbalat Shabbat services led by Rabbi Michael A. Latz and the Religious Life Ensemble at Alki UCC in West Seattle.

This prayerful, participatory, and music-filled service is typically one hour long. You are welcome to join us afterward for a potluck meal where we get to know each other better (see below). Childcare is available (please contact Debbie). For additional information, contact Rabbi Latz.

Saturday Morning Services

Please join us on the Saturday morning following the first and third Friday of each month. Kol HaNeshamah meets at 9:30 a.m. for Adult and Children's Education Courses followed by our 10:45 a.m. Torah service led by Rabbi Michael A. Latz and guitarist/song-leader Josh Miller. Services take place at Alki UCC in West Seattle. For additional information, contact Rabbi Latz.


Potlucks

After the Friday evening service, come on downstairs for Kiddush, ha’motzi, and a kosher dairy potluck feast. All who come are invited to bring a dish to share, (please make sure it’s either vegetarian or kosher fish--salmon and tuna are safe bets, also please bring peanut free items). Enganging and Joyful Services

This summer we had a variety of Shabbat services that engaged our community in different settings and forms; including, shared services with Kavanah, Shabbat on Alki Beach (pictured above) and Torah Study in member homes.
